A order # and order details are sent back in the web service response to confirm the order was placed. The order information is then stored in the service mgt system that can be used to match the parts invoice to a claim /dispatch number.
Order Status Web Service – Allows service provider to do a real time inquiry of parts orders by Order #, or Claims/Dispatch #.
Cancel and Returns Web Service – Allows service providers to do real time cancels and returns by pressing a button within their service mgt application. The above web services are only the beginning and most basic.
